Diversity Day was a vibrant and heartwarming success, bringing our school community together in a celebration of heritage, pride, and unity. From the moment the event was launched in assembly, students from Years 3 to 6 eagerly embraced the day with enthusiasm and curiosity. Dressed in traditional outfits and proudly waving their country’s flags, children delighted in sharing their cultural roots with peers and teachers alike during our annual Diversity ‘fashion show’. Classrooms buzzed with energy as students explored and learned about customs, languages, and traditions from around the world, sparking meaningful conversations and deepening cross-cultural understanding.

One of the standout highlights was the incredible display of culture-themed homework projects, contributed by both lower and upper school pupils. Each piece reflected creativity, thoughtfulness, and a genuine sense of pride in students' backgrounds. We are continuing to find ways to showcase this inspiring work throughout the school. Year 3 exchanged their work with Year 5 and Year 4 and intend to share their projects with Year 6. The spirit of Diversity Day reminded us how deeply the values of inclusion and respect are woven into the fabric of our school and our community. I want to thank all our dedicated staff and supportive families who helped make this celebration so memorable and meaningful.
