8 boys and 8 girls from the upper school (Year 5 & 6) will, following the Inter—house cross country, be invited to attend the Epsom & Ewell Borough Cross Country Event on Monday 13th October 2025 at Sutton Grammar Playing Fields. This will be very short notice, so please confirm your availability now in the Google form attached.
The selected 8 boys and girls will need to bring in their PE kits & water bottle on Monday 13th October and you will need to collect them early from school in order to arrive at 3.30pm and collect at 5pm. Parents/Carers are encouraged to stay to watch the cross country. Mr Sellars will be attending the event so please ensure your sign your child in and out with him.
Please do not arrive before 3.30pm as there will still be children on site. Sutton Grammar have requested we notify parents to please not park in the car park at the playing fields or on Northey Avenue (they are plenty of surrounding roads). We aim for the first race to start at 4.00pm (usually girls first) and the event should be done by 5.00pm.
The top 5 (out of 8) scores will be added together to form a total for your school. Lowest total will be put forward as a school for the Country event which will happen later in the term.
