On Thursday 19th June, Year 3 and Year 4 have an exciting visit from the author, Sophy Henn. Sophy Henn is the creator of many graphic novels and is coming to talk to the children about her latest book, Happy Hills 3. This is a similar style book to much loved novels such as Cat Kid, Dog Man and Bunny Vs Monkey. Sophy will be in school to talk to the children about how to create a graphic novel, how to invent characters and there will be 'draw along' opportunities for children to experience being an illustrator too.
After the session, Sophy will be selling her 'Happy Hills' book and meeting the children who would like to purchase a signed copy. If your child would like to buy a book, please send them into school with the cash in a sealed envelope on Thursday 19th June - see flyer attached for details.
In order to for us gauge numbers and ensure Sophy brings enough books on the day, please register your interest on the attached Google form by Monday 9th June.
