As part of this year’s Summer Fair, each child is invited to come up with a fun and creative business idea to run a stall! Children will work with their friends during class time to develop a short presentation, which they will then pitch to their teacher. Each class will hold a blind vote on 23rd May 2025 to choose one winning group to represent them, resulting in 10 winning teams across the school. In addition, our Senior Leadership Team will select two extra groups from the remaining entries as runners-up.
Taking part in the pitch is completely optional—children are very welcome to simply enjoy the creative process of coming up with a business idea and can choose not to present if they prefer. Parents and guardians can support by discussing ideas with their children and helping them think about what support or resources they might need. Children have been given clear guidelines about what is and isn’t allowed—please note that no shop-bought items or food are permitted due to allergy concerns. We’re excited to see all the imagination and teamwork this project inspires! This project encourages creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial thinking in a fun and supportive environment.
There must be a maximum of three children per stall.
The winners will be informed of how and who to pay their £10 stall entry fee when the winners are announced.
Summer Fair will be held on Friday 27th June from 3pm.
