We are so lucky to have an active PTA at our school. We organise lots of fun events and activities for our school children and families to enjoy and we raise funds to enrich the children’s learning experiences in school.
We have already started planning our events for this year, with some familiar and much-loved events, and also some fun new ones. The PTA events calendar will be released soon.
How can you help?
Join the committee! We welcome new members to get involved with fundraising ideas and event planning. We have a lovely sociable team with an excellent wider group of volunteers that support us. We will hold an AGM later in the year and we will advertise for new members to join the committee at the AGM. Do not miss this fantastic opportunity to meet new people and work closely with the school and the children.
Volunteer! We appreciate all of the help and support we receive from our lovely volunteers. No matter how much or how little time you have, we are so grateful for your contributions. You could take the lead on an event, volunteer before, during and after events so they run smoothly, you could bake, make posters, help with uniform sales or ice lolly sales or DJ for the disco! We are only able to fundraise so successfully for the school thanks to our brilliant volunteers.
Support our events! Buy tickets to our events, spend at the food and drink stalls, pay for the special person gift shops and discos! These are just some of the ways that you can support the PTA’s fundraising efforts to enrich the children’s learning experiences in school.
Sponsorship: Could your business or place of work sponsor the PTA? We are looking for sponsors for our PTA Events website as well as for particular events. Showcase your fabulous business while supporting the PTA and your children in school! Please get in touch for more information.
Easy fundraising: The easiest way to support the school is by signing up to easy fundraising! It is completely free - just shop online with over 8,000+ retailers, and we will receive a donation at no extra cost to you. Once installed, simply choose to support WALLACE FIELDS JUNIOR SCHOOL — every shop makes a difference! We will send the link out on the WhatsApp groups.
