As promised we have done a review of our uniform and adapted it to help reduce the costs to parents. V Neck Red logoed sweatshirt and sweatshirt cardigan will replace the v neck knitted jumper and PE sweatshirt so parents will only need to buy one jumper. The old style knitted jumper and PE sweatshirt are still permitted and the majority of children will still be wearing these styles.
Uniform is a great leveller and creates identity and is useful on trips and visits outside of school. We are proud of our uniform and the true sense of belonging that comes with it. To help reduce costs we have tried to keep logoed items to a minimum and allow high-street options such as supermarket plimsolls, trainers, gingham dresses, skirts, shoes, shirts, joggers and trousers.
We hold regular second hand uniform sales outside school every half term after school where good quality uniform can be purchased cheaply. We are still looking into cheaper alternatives and have removed any commission that some other schools charge.
Please ensure all items are labelled. Mapac sell labels on their website which are easy to use with no more ironing or sewing, simply peel and stick. These are incredibly sticky to ensure their ability to withstand washing cycles and tumble drying. Suitable for Clothing, Shoes and Equipment.
