We have reached an unprecedented level of dangerous and inconsiderate parking around the school premises. As a school, we are taking all possible measures to block off the school and ensure the safety of children and families. Mr Findlay, our caretaker, is working diligently each morning to manage traffic and prevent hazardous stopping. However, our authority is limited, and those who choose to park irresponsibly often disregard advice and rules designed to protect others from harm.

We ask all parents to support us by reporting any instances of dangerous or disrespectful parking that you observe. Your vigilance and cooperation are essential in helping us maintain a safe environment for every child and family. Dangerous and obstructive parking is more than an inconvenience; it can put lives at risk and it is only a matter of time before there is a serious injury or death. When to Contact Your Local Council

Parking on Pavements or Verges with Restrictions If waiting restrictions apply (such as yellow lines), the council can issue a penalty.

Online - Some local councils and Surrey Police offer online reporting forms. 

When to Call 101 (Surrey Police)

  • Dangerous Parking Vehicles parked in hazardous locations, such as on bends or near junctions, where there are no parking controls.
  • Obstructive Parking Vehicles blocking pavements, verges, or driveways, creating an obstruction for pedestrians, cyclists, or emergency services, especially if it forces people into the road.
  • Other Issues Blocked driveways or nuisance parking.
