Every year, the BBC run a 500 word story competition. It is an opportunity for children to write a story with no more than 500 words. There are two age categories: 5-7 and 8-11 year olds. If your child wants to enter, all they need to do is write a story in 500 words or less!
All children are encouraged to enter. It is all about the creativity!

Entries are to be submitted via the BBC website but please do bring in your story to school to share with your class teacher too. We would love to read them!
