We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Helping Hands Meeting, designed for those interested in becoming volunteers at our school. This will be an opportunity to learn more about how you can support our pupils and staff, and to ask any questions you may have about the volunteering process.

Meeting Details:  ???? Date: Friday 12th September 2025 ???? Time: 9.30am???? Location: Staffroom

Volunteers play a vital role in enriching the life of our school. Whether it's listening to children read, supporting classroom activities, or helping with events, your time and enthusiasm make a real difference. Teachers truly value the support volunteers bring — it helps us create a more vibrant, responsive learning environment for every child.

If you’re considering joining our Helping Hands team, here are a few key points to be aware of:

  • ????️ Safeguarding Training: All volunteers will receive basic safeguarding guidance to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our pupils.
  • ???? DBS Check: A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for all volunteers working regularly in school.
  • ⏰ Regular Commitment: We ask that volunteers offer a consistent time slot each week so staff can plan effectively and make the most of your support.

We understand that giving up your time is a generous offer, and we are truly grateful. Volunteering at our school is not only rewarding for the children — it’s often deeply fulfilling for the volunteers themselves. You’ll be part of a warm, welcoming community and help shape the educational journey of our young learners. please be aware that you will not be placed in your own child's class though you may go along on trips and visits that are whole year group.

If you’re interested but unable to attend the meeting, please note the points above and let the office know if you think you will be able to commit some time to the school.

Thank you once again for considering this opportunity. We look forward to welcoming many of you into our Helping Hands team.

Kindest regards

Steve Lee
